Requirement:

  • Minimum of 15 years in oil & gas/LNG including 10 years in senior project management roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex brownfield projects or executing large-scale blanket contracts, demonstrating their ability to manage high-stakes operations efficiently. Experience in Papua New Guinea with ExxonMobil projects is highly advantageous, reflecting familiarity with industry standards and expectations.
  • Accountable for the comprehensive execution of contract requirements, ensuring all project deliverables meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Consistently achieves schedule and budget targets through meticulous planning, proactive risk management, and seamless coordination across teams.
  • Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with Exxon stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, satisfaction, and ongoing partnership.
  • Oversees multiple projects within the portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Implements rigorous safety protocols and quality standards, fostering a culture of excellence and zero incidents.
  • Monitors project performance metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement, and drives initiatives to enhance overall project outcomes.
  • Proactively addresses challenges with innovative solutions, minimizing delays and costs while maintaining project integrity.
  • Possessing exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide diverse teams, combined with outstanding communication abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels, and a sharp, proactive problem-solving mindset that anticipates challenges and drives innovative solutions.
  • Excellent in English, both spoken and written. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project/Construction Management or other related fields. PMP or equivalent preferred.
