Requirement:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering design, bidding, and project execution within Combine Cycle Power Plant, Water & Sewage Treatment Plant, SWRO, LNG, Geothermal Power, Waste to Energy (WTE), District Cooling Plant (DCP), or related industrial projects, including at least 3 years of working experience in Malaysia-based projects or companies.
• Oversee process and mechanical engineering activities including equipment sizing, BOQ, rotating/static equipment, technical documentation, and optimization design to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, Design Institute (DI), OEMs, Vendors, subcontractors, Owner/Owner Engineer (O/OE), and clients to support bidding activities, project execution, troubleshooting, and technical clarifications.
• Review tender documents, mechanical drawings, datasheets, material specifications, engineering calculations, technical proposals, and EPC contract technical documents to ensure accuracy, constructability, technical compliance, and optimization planning.
• Support project planning, procurement activities, commissioning preparation, engineering schedule implementation, technical bid evaluation, and project milestone management to ensure successful project delivery within schedule and quality standards.
• Identify technical risks, perform technical requirement breakdown and deviation analysis, recommend engineering solutions, and ensure all mechanical works comply with project requirements, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
• Possesses excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple engineering priorities effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in EPC engineering standards, international codes, and engineering software is an advantage. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
