Requirement:

• Minimum of 10 years of strong experience in furniture workshop/manufacturing management, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, with proven expertise in luxury furniture craftsmanship, high-end materials, and advanced finishing techniques.
• Supervise and coordinate all workshop activities, including design, carpentry, upholstery, finishing, and quality control, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to high standards.  
• Lead and manage a team of skilled artisans, craftsmen, and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement to meet production goals and quality benchmarks.  
• Develop, implement, and optimize production schedules, workflows, and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and craftsmanship quality.  
• Collaborate closely with design and sales teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and client specifications, ensuring all furniture pieces meet aesthetic and technical standards.  
• Oversee inventory management of raw materials, tools, and equipment, maintaining safety protocols and ensuring proper maintenance for smooth production flow.  
• Drive product development efforts for the luxury division by working with client development, collection, design, and quality teams to create innovative collections aligned with brand standards.  
• Manage machinery investments, operational planning, and resource allocation, including skilled operation of basic to semi-advanced equipment (panel saw, spindle, CNC, glue spreader, veneer cutter, wide belt sander) and finishing techniques (duco and veneer), to support growth, automation, and cost efficiency.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus, along with knowledge of sustainable practices and eco-friendly materials to enhance craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent organizational, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship; possesses a solid understanding of workshop safety regulations and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Good in English, both spoken and written. A Diploma’s or Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Engineering/Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
