Instrumentation Manager (Open to Expats)

Requirement:

  • Minimum 20 years of strong experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
  • Oversee instrumentation maintenance activities, ensure full compliance with HSE requirements, regulatory obligations, and applicable international standards, while maintaining the reliability and availability of plant assets.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve instrumentation maintenance strategies, SOPs, and action plans to support operational efficiency and business objectives.
  • Manage instrumentation maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and optimize resource utilization while ensuring maintenance activities are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise instrumentation personnel and contractors through task delegation, performance management, KPI tracking, competency development, and adherence to company values, work ethics, and HSE policies.
  • Strong expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), instrumentation equipment, systems, products, and maintenance procedures, supported by experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably MAXIMO.
  • Hands-on experience in automation and control systems, including DCS, ESD, PLC, ITCC, and MMS, as well as HSE alarm system configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations, with practical experience in CCTV systems, gas engines, compressors, steam turbines, pump maintenance, and a strong commitment to HSE compliance and zero-accident objectives.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, and willing to work under a rotational schedule. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics/Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
