Instrument Engineer (EPC Jetty project)

up to IDR 20 Million per month
Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument engineering within EPC Oil & Gas environments, leading the design, review, and supervision of instrumentation systems for jetty and marine infrastructure projects while ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international engineering standards and safety & quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Prior experience in jetty construction projects will be considered a strong advantage.
- Proven proficiency in the engineering, review, and management of instrument and control system design, from early concept development through detailed engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control system integration including flow metering, analyzers, process control, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), including ICSS, fire and gas systems, and package systems tailored for marine/offshore environments.
- Experience in control and safety system design, with familiarity in HAZOP, SIL studies, and SIL validation procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and international best practices.
- Skilled in instrument design calculations using specialized software tools; familiar with relevant standards such as ISA, IEC, ISO, API, and applicable marine and offshore codes.
- Ability to interpret and integrate technical documentation, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications to deliver reliable, safe, and maintainable instrumentation solutions.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges of instrumentation in jetty and marine environments, including corrosion protection, explosion-proof enclosures, and offshore safety requirements.
- Possess strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Good in English, both spoken and written. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical (Low Voltage)/Physics Engineering or related field.
