Head of Food Safety Quality
Requirement:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Site Food Safety & Quality within the food industry, with strong expertise in food safety and quality management, manufacturing environments, and continuous improvement initiatives, while experience in hygienic design and microbiology would be a distinct advantage.
- Lead the Food Safety & Quality agenda across Indonesia, partnering with Global FSQ leadership to establish and deploy robust quality standards, assurance programs, policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with global requirements.
- Drive food safety compliance across plants, distribution centers, and operations, overseeing inspections, testing, raw material assessments, product analysis, HACCP implementation, and adherence to applicable regulations and food safety protocols.
- Champion FSQ capability building and operational excellence, partnering with HRBP, Plant, Logistics, Co-Pack, and Operations teams to deliver effective training, calibration, Golden Rules, and Manufacturing System Quality Pillar initiatives.
- Strengthen supplier, vendor, and Co-Packer quality governance, leading audits, risk assessments, performance reviews, and capability development to ensure consistent application of quality and food safety standards across the value chain.
- Partner with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and NPD teams to ensure new product launches and product improvements meet stringent food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while enhancing consumer confidence.
- Lead enterprise-wide FSQ risk management and continuous improvement, overseeing consumer complaints, investigations, crisis protocols, escalation processes, housekeeping standards, and data-driven initiatives to mitigate risks and elevate customer experience.
- Demonstrated exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, leveraging data-driven insights to make sound decisions and drive continuous business improvement.
- Excellent in English, both spoken and written. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related field.
