Head of Corporate Secretary
Requirement:
- Minimum 8 years of Corporate Secretary experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership to oversees and directs the corporate secretary functions across the holding company, encompassing corporate governance, strategic legal advisory, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement, and executive support for the Board of Directors, ensuring adherence to good corporate governance practices, safeguarding transparency and reputation, and enhancing the Board’s capability to make strategic decisions.
- Lead the formulation and implementation of corporate secretary policies at the holding company level.
- Oversee corporate governance practices across group subsidiaries and ensure consistency in applying GCG principles.
- Direct strategic legal functions to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks within the group.
- Manage corporate communications, stakeholder relations, and serve as the main liaison with regulators, investors, and shareholders.
- Supervise executive support services for the Board of Directors, including Business and Personal PA, and prepare reports for top management.
- Provide strategic advice to the President Director on legal, governance, and communication issues, support annual reporting, and represent the holding in legal, governance, or strategic communication forums.
- A strong leadership & team development skills with excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and a high level of integrity to maintain confidentiality/handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and ethical standards.
- Good in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or related field.
