Construction Equipment Inspector

Project-based
report to the Construction Manager

up to IDR 17 Million per month

Requirement:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in managing and inspecting construction equipment and heavy vehicles, including 4+ years supervising equipment operations on EPC projects such as Oil & Gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, mining, geothermal, or power generation, with strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Plan, coordinate, and control all contractor construction equipment activities across EPC project phases, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements, construction schedules, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead contractor capability development by reviewing, approving, and enforcing Construction Equipment Plans (CEP) to guarantee safe, efficient, and on-time execution in compliance with EPC standards.
  • Verify equipment readiness and compliance, ensuring all contractor-owned machinery meets technical specifications, contract scope, OEM standards, and project HSE requirements prior to mobilization and operation.
  • Monitor equipment performance on site, including availability, utilization, downtime, maintenance cycles, replacement strategy, and statutory permits to minimize operational risk and schedule impact.
  • Liaise with authorities, certifying bodies, and internal EPC teams to secure mandatory certifications, lifting permits, licenses, and approvals for heavy equipment, cranes, and construction vehicles.
  • Valid certification of Ahli K3 Pesawat Angkat dan Angkut (AK3 PAA) from Kemnaker/BNSP/Kemenperin, or equivalent is mandatory highly preferred.
  • Have strong safety leadership and supervision skills, along with excellent facilitation, coordination, and networking abilities.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
