Requirement:
- Minimum of 15 years of senior management experience in the oil & gas/LNG or major infrastructure sectors is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex brownfield projects or executing large-scale blanket contracts, demonstrating their ability to manage high-stakes operations efficiently. Experience in Papua New Guinea with ExxonMobil projects is highly advantageous, reflecting familiarity with industry standards and expectations.
- Spearheads all project activities within the host country, serving as the pivotal point for seamless coordination and execution.
- Ensures unwavering compliance with intricate local laws and regulations, mitigating risks and safeguarding project integrity.
- Builds strategic relationships with government authorities, local communities, and key stakeholders, fostering trust, collaboration, and sustainable support.
- Implements cutting-edge compliance strategies that not only meet but often exceed local regulatory standards, setting industry benchmarks.
- Navigates cultural nuances with finesse, enhancing stakeholder engagement and ensuring project acceptance and success.
- Possessing exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide diverse teams, combined with outstanding communication abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels, and a sharp, proactive problem-solving mindset that anticipates challenges and drives innovative solutions.
- Excellent in English, both spoken and written. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project/Construction Management or other related fields.
