Requirement:

• Possessing a minimum of 15 years of civil engineering experience in the ammonia, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or heavy manufacturing sectors, with demonstrated leadership in managing civil construction projects from design through handover, and a solid expertise in structural and foundation design, including earthquake zone standards.
• Extensive experience in budget planning, quantity surveying, and vendor management, complemented by involvement in EPC tender processes, contractor assessment, and civil infrastructure development within petrochemical or energy plant environments.
• Managed end-to-end civil engineering activities from Pre-FEED through project execution, establishing standards, overseeing design approvals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with licensors, EPC contractors, and consultants to ensure civil works comply with safety, quality, and budget objectives, oversee project progress including infrastructure and maintenance, and supervise vendor performance and foundation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Conduct constructability assessments, quality inspections, and ensure compliance with structural and seismic safety codes.
• Deliver technical assistance during construction, commissioning, and operational handover, alongside managing documentation, training, and system transfer, while mentoring and developing civil engineering teams, particularly local engineers to foster knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
• Proven leader with outstanding problem-solving and team coordination abilities, committed to maintaining high integrity, proactive engagement, and ensuring unwavering quality and safety standards.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Staad Pro, and ERP systems such as SAP, with comprehensive understanding of international civil and construction standards (ASTM/equivalent), advanced leadership and project management training, and strong familiarity with local SMK3 and SML environmental and safety standards.
• Excellent in English, both spoken and written. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
