Cost Estimation Engineer

Requirement:
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and project cost analysis within Combine Cycle Power Plant, Water & Sewage Treatment Plant, SWRO, LNG, Geothermal Power, Waste to Energy (WTE), District Cooling Plant (DCP), or related industrial projects, including at least 3 years of working experience in Malaysia-based projects or companies.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bill of quantities, commercial evaluations, and bidding documents based on technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Analyze project scope, material costs, labor costs, equipment pricing, and subcontractor quotations to ensure accurate and competitive project estimations.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and vendors to obtain technical and commercial information required for tender submissions and project budgeting.
- Monitor project costs, identify potential cost risks, recommend cost optimization strategies, and support project control activities during execution stages.
- Review contract documents, technical proposals, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with project objectives, client requirements, and company standards.
- Possesses excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tendering and estimation activities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective time management under tight project deadlines.
- Excellent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in estimation software, Microsoft Office, and commercial analysis tools is an advantage. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or other related fields.
