Requirement:

• Minimum 20 years of strong experience in Ammonia plants/production operations with experience working with KBR Purifier Technology highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Ammonia plant and Utilities operations, Process Safety Management, Analytical approaches to chemical process optimization, QHSE systems and compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, British Safety Council audits), Mechanical systems: pumps, fans, compressors, turbines, boilers, furnaces, etc.
• Lead Ammonia production operations to achieve production, safety, quality, and reliability targets while ensuring effective execution of daily operational activities.
• Manage, develop, and evaluate Ammonia & Utilities personnel, foster cross-functional collaboration, implement operational excellence initiatives, and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE, legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements, including corrective and preventive actions for process deviations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee operational budgets and cost optimization, while coordinating with Head Office, licensors (KBR), vendors, regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders to support sustainable plant performance.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional coordination and team development with excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, and willing to work under a rotational schedule. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
